Beauty is not how you see yourself. It is not how others see you.
It is not how you think others see you.
Beauty is fashioned by your Creator. He fashioned you in His image.
That makes you beautiful!
“God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” (Genesis 1:27)
Beauty is more than an image…a mirror, a magazine, a billboard, a screen.
Beauty is about who you are.
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. (1 Peter 3:3-4)
Beauty comes from allowing Christ to consume our identity.
Gentleness, faithfulness, kindness, joy, gratefulness, submission, holiness, self-sacrifice, peace, moral courage, faith, hope, love….is beautiful.
Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeing, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. (Proverbs 31:30)
