What he’s saying is righteousness is nothing to do wth our behaviour.
Righteousness is a person. Jesus. He is our righteousness because he lives in us.
That’s it.
Our righteousness has nothing to do with what we do or don’t do.
We are righteous, perfect and holy because He lives in us.
Nothing we can do can take our righteousness away, because Jesus will never leave us.
Beautiful, huh?
