Brothers, sisters…
The church is not a building. We are the church:
“Consequently, you are fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.”
– Ephesians 2:19 – 21
And check this out —
“God does not dwell in a temple made with hands.”
– Acts 7:48
God no longer dwells in a temple. He dwells is us.
As Peter says, we are living stones.
“And you are living stones that God is building into his spiritual temple.”
– 1 Peter 2:5
We are the temple. We are the church.
