Are you the ‘beauty and majesty’ of God ?

If anyone teaches you you’re a sinner. Reject it!

“He sent Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of Christ.” (2 Cor 5:19)

Our righteousness is ‘a gift’ (Romans 5:17).

“He has draped us in robes of His righteousness,” (Isaiah 61:10)

and because Christ is IN us we are the ‘beauty and majesty’ of God.

If Christ is in us, and He is holy, how can we be sinners?

Why does John say:

‘Those who are born of God are not able to sin’ ? (1 John 5:18)

and Hebrews:

“By one sacrifice He has made PERFECT FOREVER those who have been made holy.” (10:14)

We are holy, perfect, and righteous in Christ, draped in a robe of His righteousness, and the beauty and majesty of God!

Will somebody give me an amen?!

Hey!

Hey there. I’m Steve Edwards. I’m an actor, a writer, a teacher and a preacher!

This site explores the meaning of St. Paul’s words ‘by grace we are saved’. I hope it helps you to understand that we are loved by God completely, purely, fully, regardless of our mistakes. He loves us not because of who we are, but because of who He is, and what He did for us on the cross. Amen!

Please explore the hundreds of articles on the different books of the bible, and how the bible reveals that our holiness is a gift from God, and doesn’t depend on us and our good works. Thank God for that!
