“How many times can a man be born?” Nicodemus asks Jesus.
But I ask: “How many times can a man be born again?”
Once when I accepted Christ 15 years ago.
Twice, ten years later, when I received a massive experience of the Holy Spirit during the Lakeland Revival.
And now, 2013, indirectly through Joseph Prince, God has bowled me over by revealing to me the immeasurable riches of His Grace…
That God does not count our sin against us…
…That righteousness is a free gift…
…that nothing we can do can make us holy…
…that we have been adorned with the beauty and majesty of God…
…that he has dressed us in a robe of His righteousness…
…that sin does not have to be ‘confessed’…
…that we have been freed from sin…
…that those who are born of God cannot sin…
…that we have been forgiven once for all…
…that we have been made perfect forever…
…that we have been made holy once for all…
…that we are justified freely by His grace…
…that it is nothing I do…
…that it’s not by works…
…that righteousness cannot be earned…
…that I cannot achieve holiness on my own…
…that nothing I do can make God hate me….
…that nothing I can do can turn God against me…
…that Jesus died for ALL my sin…
…that the gift is free.
…that all we have to do is believe and receive…
…that God loves us beyond all measure…
…that we are truly free!
Phew!
Freedom!
if the Son sets us free we are free indeed!
AMEN.
